Gina
Pruitt has written over 30 books for piano and jazz piano for all
levels including four of which are improvisation texts. Amongst
bestsellers are 'Jazz Christmas', 'Jazz Hymnal' and 'Jazz Workbook', a
comprehensive keyboard improvisation guide. An accomplished classical
and jazz pianist, she is an active performer, teacher, composer and
arranger. Having worked with students of all levels in addition to
teaching at the university level for the past 20 years she has a broad
spectrum upon which to draw her ideas for creating music and exercises
that students both enjoy and benefit from.
